We’re always grateful for those who help set up the meal-packing stations, but we’re also looking for volunteers who can assist with both setting up before the event and breaking everything down afterward.
What is Rise Against Hunger?
Rise Against Hunger is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger by providing nutritious meals to communities experiencing food insecurity around the world. Through volunteer meal-packing events, people of all ages come together to package life-changing meals that are distributed to schools, orphanages, disaster relief efforts, and other communities in need.
Our church is honored to partner with Rise Against Hunger as a way to put our faith into action. Each year, we gather to serve alongside our community, packing thousands of meals that bring hope, nourishment, and the love of Christ to those in need. It's a meaningful opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to make a tangible difference—one meal at a time.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our church family and community, more than 150 volunteers came together to pack 23,112 meals for children facing hunger around the world. It was a joy to see returning volunteers alongside many new faces, all serving together with one heart and purpose.
We're excited to continue this mission, and our next Rise Against Hunger event will be held on September 26. We look forward to another amazing day of serving together and making a lasting impact. We hope you'll join us!
